January 23 Newsletter

Important News

Shadow Day will be this Friday, 1/26.  The girls will be paired up with a 5th grade buddy to spend the morning in Middle School.   A pizza lunch will be provided. Girls may bring change to purchase a baked good from the 6th grade bake sale.

Random Acts of Kindness: Last week we had a school-wide assembly to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and launch a school-wide “Pay it Forward” initiative. The girls pulled the name of a classmate today, for whom they will complete a random act of kindness, which the classmate will then pay forward. Please ask your daughter about some of her ideas for random acts of kindness!
Open Gates moved to Wednesday, February 7 at 8:05: The girls are continuing to work on their books, timelines, and skits in class.  Many of the girls will also need to put in some work at home in order to make sure they are staying on track for completion.  We appreciate your support in helping your girls with all of the many components of this project.

Carpool Helpers: A new schedule for 4th grade carpool is included in today’s folder!
