Important News

4th Grade Conferences will be held on Thursday, November 10 and Friday, November 11.  There is a full day of school for students on Thursday, but there will be no school for students on Friday, November 11. Conference Camp will be held on Friday.

Author Visit - Award-winning author Jewell Parker Rhodes will be visiting McGehee on November 6. Please see the enclosed flyer if you are interested in ordering any of her novels prior to her visit.

Open Gates - We are beginning the first phase of our Open Gates: Women’s Biographies project in Social Studies. Today the girls received a list of possible subjects from which to choose. Each girl should put together a list of their top 10 choices by Monday. If your daughter is interested in studying a woman not included on the list, she must submit this name to her homeroom teacher by Friday.
