Dear 4th grade families,

As the next phase in our hurricane relief service project, we are collecting supplies for 'bathroom boxes' and 'kitchen boxes' to be distributed in Orange County, TX, an area hard-hit by Hurricane Harvey and not yet receiving much aid.  According to Annie Strain, a Trinity mom who took a truckload of boxes to Texas this past weekend, it’s “an area of roughly 500 houses, [and]...the contents of every single house and car is a full loss and some of the county is still under water.”  She is personally organizing distribution once a week so that “every single box...goes directly into the hands of somebody who [needs] it.”

Our hope is that our 4th grade can gather supplies for 2 bathroom boxes and 2 kitchen boxes. The items are due to school TUESDAY, September 26th. Allison Steinfeld will be asking room parents to help assemble the boxes on Thursday, September 28. Middle School and Upper School are also making boxes.

Let's make a difference and help fill her truck with goods and love!
