Fourth Grade Newsletter

Important News Tuesday Folders:  Please sign the folder in the indicated place on the dated sheet each week.  Your signature means that you have seen your daughter’s folder.  Please keep all handouts, but be sure to return any and all graded papers in the folder.  We need to keep these on file.  Also, any forms that need to be returned to school may be sent via the folder.  Please return all folders on Wednesday unless special circumstances prevent you from doing so. Blog: You should have received an email with a link to subscribe to our 4th grade blog earlier today. If you did not receive this email, please contact your daughter’s homeroom teacher. A copy of the newsletter will be posted on the blog each week. Tardy Policy: Please continue to let your daughter’s homeroom teacher know of any absences and tardies. Tardy students should be escorted in by their parents to Cameron Lyon’s office so they are all accounted for. Carpool Duty:  Please refer to the schedule included in today’s folder.  If your daughter wants to assist with lower school carpool and has not returned a permission slip, please let us know as soon as possible so we can add her to the list. Wednesday Early Dismissal: Please remember that Wednesday dismissal will run from 2:30 - 2:45 this year. This is a change from third grade. ConnectEd: Our math program, Everyday Mathematics, now includes a fantastic online component, through which the girls can access reference materials, tutorial videos, additional practice with the day’s lesson, a wide variety of math tools, and online games for facts practice and skill building!
