May 29 Newsletter

Important News


Regular Dismissal Tomorrow (Wednesday): We will not be following a Wednesday early
dismissal schedule tomorrow, instead the girls will be dismissed at the regular time (3:15).


Class Party: Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 30 the girls may wear duds to school. Lower School
will have an afternoon of fun to celebrate the end of the school year!


4th Grade Moving-Up Ceremony: Girls can wear any spring dress, skirt and blouse or pants
of their choice to school on Thursday. The only rule is FLAT shoes or sandals. No heels, please!  

Books: Please return all classroom and library books to school.

May 23 Newsletter

Important News


Summer Work: Enclosed is the 5th grade summer work.
Please sign and return a copy of the reading contract. You should keep the second copy.
Please ensure that your daughter is able to log into her IXL account and let us know
if there are any issues.


Books: Please return all classroom and library books to school!

May 15 Newsletter

Important News
Duds Days: The girls may wear their Music Man Jr. T-shirts (coming home today) tomorrow
and Friday, with appropriate school shoes. The girls should come in regular school
uniforms on Thursday.

4th Grade Musical Performances:
       -Thursday, May 17, 9:30 AM performance for Lower School

-Thursday Night, May 17, 7:00 PM performance, with reception to follow.
Doors open at 6:30 PM. Students and parents may NOT reserve seats ahead of time.
Winners of the auction will have seats reserved for them!

            Thursday Night Performance Reminders:
**Students should arrive in the auditorium by 5:30 PM **
           -Please have the girls eat a light supper before call time (no eating in costume).
           -If your daughter is staying in aftercare that day, please send her to school with     
            a light snack to eat before the 5:30 call time.

-Friday, May 18, 12:45 PM performance for Middle School and Upper School

4th Grade Sleepover: Drop off Friday is at 6:30; pick-up Saturday morning is at 8:00am.

Field Trip Wednesday

Happy Monday!

The girls are almost ready to debut their musical to their first official audience!

Look for a permission slip coming home today for our cast party lunch on Wednesday.

Permission slips are due tomorrow (Tuesday, March 15).

Alternatively, you may email your daughter's teacher and state that your daughter has permission to attend the field trip to Superior Grill on Wednesday, May 16, 2018.

Dress Rehearsal Items Needed


All students must bring their costume to school in a LARGE ZIPPERED BAG
(i.e., duffle, sports, overnight, etc) with their full name clearly labeled on it
no later than FRIDAY, MAY 4th.

The LARGE ZIPPERED BAG must include:
  • Hairspray, gel or what might work best for your daughter’s hair to keep fly-aways at bay
  • Hair colored hair rubber bands/ hair ties (at least 6 of them!)
  • Bobby pins (at least 20 of them!)
  • Hair brush or comb
  • Skin toned camisole or thin strap tank top (to wear under your costume)

Important News


Graded Papers: Please note, no graded papers will be sent home during ERB testing.

ERB Testing will continue through this Friday.. As always, make sure your daughter comes to school
on-time, well-rested, and well-fed. There will be no homework other than 20-30 minutes of independent
reading during the week of ERB testing.
As you know, this is one snapshot of your daughter’s academic performance. Thank you for all you
do to help make your daughter’s testing successful!
